Education 2006 - Education & Skills for the future
Information Technology is transforming the classroom both for pupils and teachers. Schools need to make the most of innovative and interactive resources to make learning more creative and effective.
Education & Skills for the future - is a one-day conference and exhibition examining ways to place ICT at the heart of education in the future.

This important networking event will hear the views of key players in education and will act as a great platform for debate. The use of technology to advance education is at the heart of most, if not all school plans for the future.
By attending this event you can ensure you are part of that future.
There will be an hour long 'introduction' to DiDA during the conference. DiDA is a revolutionary suite of three paperless qualifications from Edexcel that focuses on the practical application of technology. They are designed to stimulate students’ creativity and develop real-world, practical skills that will motivate learning across a wide range of subjects.
As a suite of qualifications, DiDA offers progression from the Award (AiDA), which is equivalent to one GCSE, to the Certificate (CiDA), and on to the full Diploma (DiDA), equivalent to four GCSEs.
"ICT provides a powerful tool to tailor teaching and learning. The best secondary schools already use ICT to deliver exciting, multi-media lessons; to set and mark work online, providing immediate feedback to children, teachers and parents; and to link the classroom and home, so that the materials children are studying in class are available beyond the school gates." - Richard Bowker - Chief Executive of Partnerships for Schools
