Edexcel, a Pearson company, the UK's largest awarding body offering academic and vocational qualifications and testing to more than 25,000 schools, colleges, employers and other places of learning here and in over 100 countries worldwide.

We deliver 9.4 million exam scripts each year, with 3 million marked onscreen in 2005.  Our qualifications include GCSE, AS and A Level, GNVQ, NVQ and the BTEC suite of vocational qualifications from entry level to BTEC Higher National Diplomas and Foundation Degrees.

DiDA is an ICT “User” qualification designed to build on the Key Stage 3 Strategy.  1, 2 and 4 GCSE size qualifications are available and it is possible to combine units at both level 1 and level 2 within a qualification to meet the needs of the learner.  The flexible structure supports the development of a curriculum model allowing all students to take the Award (one unit), as early as year 9, and then progressing to the Certificate (two units), and finally to the full Diploma (four units).

This new flexible and innovative suite of qualifications in now being followed by over 100,000 students, studying and achieving at both Level 1 and Level 2.
